Houses rehabilitation and restoration project, funded by PIOUS foundation, aims at restoring the dilapidated houses lacking minimum conditions to protect residents, and provide basic comfort in addition to the houses that lack adequate bathing, cooking, or toilet facilities. Intervention is based on the selection of a set of homes and shelters spread across the Gaza Strip that have been damaged or deteriorated by attacks, and can no longer provide adequate living conditions. These homes, apartments, separate rooms, or marginalized homes are repaired and upgraded to the highest possible level that contributes to the protection of marginalized and vulnerable groups of the population, including the most vulnerable groups (the disabled, the elderly, children, women, the sick, etc.
